- Come end the season/kickoff spring break/begin the lifestyle of prayer and unity with us at the Closing Event
Since 2006 every winter semester a 24/7 prayer room has been in operation. It is a place where students and members of the Ann Arbor community come to talk with our heavenly Father. To pour out our hears, our hurts, our longings, our joy...
We begin this season with a Kickoff event on the evening of 1/17, a time of worship, corporate & group prayer, and exhortation & teaching on prayer, revival, and unity. We then open the Prayer Room, where prayers upon prayers are written on the walls of the University Lutheran Chapel Prayer room. We end it with a closing event on 2/26 (Details TBD) to thank God for what he has done and encourage students in a lifestyle of intercession, mission, and pursuing unity and the knowledge of God.
Consider signing up for a slot in the prayer room that 'the fire on the altar' may not go out! If you have guitar, do some worship and let others know to join in. Pray individually or with small groups. We want to know when you're in the room! Make a plan for some worship and prayer with your community, your ministry!
Hebrews 10:22-25 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Phillipians 4:5-9 The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Unity through Prayer, Prayer for Revival.
PrayUM is a multi-church community at the University of Michigan which exists to bring the Christian groups together in prayer for our campus and beyond. We are not the typical campus ministry or church, but rather are a means of connecting students involved in the these different ministries through the common discipline of prayer.
